Sir Alex Ferguson is happy to have another home tie in the FA Cup despite being drawn against another top-flight side.
Manchester United have taken on top-flight opposition in the last three rounds and have seen off Aston Villa, Tottenham and Arsenal.
Despite the possibility of being paired with Bristol Rovers, West Brom, Barnsley or Cardiff, United were handed a home clash with Portsmouth in the quarter-finals.
Ferguson is disappointed to have drawn Premier League opposition again, but is expecting a good atmosphere when Pompey come to Old Trafford for the second time in the FA Cup in two seasons.
