Carlos Martins struck a second-half equaliser for Recreativo Huelva to heap more pressure on Valencia manager Ronald Koeman.

Valencia have now managed just two wins in 13 league fixtures as Saturday evening's encounter at the Mestalla ended 1-1.

Juan Mata handed the home side the lead on 39 minutes, however Martins (52) restored parity to secure a valuable point for Recreativo.

The result sees Manolo Zambrano's men climb to 14th in Primera Division, while Valencia remain ninth.
